Is anyone having the problem with the omega drives not leting you use fast write? 4.1 worked fine but 4.2 and 4.3 turn off fast write and gary it out.

Omega driver default Fastwrite to off. It doesn't do anything good and only cause instability anyway. Keep it off.

How are the Omega drivers compared to just mod-tooled ATI drivers for stability while overclocking?

I've always been very wary of Omega drivers because I don't really believe that mixing up driver files and tweaking registry settings is a good idea unless you're the engineer who programmed the drivers in the first place.

From observation and experimenting, Omegas produce noticeably better frame rates than OEM drivers, from stock to max-OC, while still remaining stable. The difference grows the more you OC.

Try it, and if you don't like it, you can always go back... but I bet you'll keep the Omegas :)
