gateway 450x wont boot up anymore POWER PROBLEM?

Hello

does anyonehave problems with their gateway centrino 450x? the machine worked fine and one day it would not boot up. What would be the cause of this? The laptop btw seems to run fine with the battery charged... the laptop just doesnt seem to be getting any juice from the ac adapter... i tried another adapter and it had the same problem... the laptop just is not getting any power... is the power switchh (behind the laptop) or module worn and has to be replaced? any ideas what may cause this problem? any ideas would be great thanks

is it the power board module?? the machine works with the battery but is not accepting a charge from the AC adapter and is not working under the power adapter ( the adapter works)

is it the system board then? I tried the power board module? anyways maybe its time to sell the machine... anyone interested in a gateway 450 for parts for sale?
